BOARDING LADDER: The original boarding ladder did not extend far enough underwater for us pensioners. I took it back to the makers, Dixon Stainless in Warkworth. They extended it so there are three steps underwater when it is down. A very neat job which matches the original exactly,

Another way of getting this done is to buy from Burnsco or elsewhere the extendable ladder and have it welded to the bottom. The ladder was the same width as our existing but would pay to check. This has the advantage of about 4 steps below the water but folds up when raised. (Clem Guildford)
